Radio controlled, 3-D printed boats will complete against each otherto see who can transport the most cargo in the time allowed, and who can most expertly navigate the rough seas around Valentino Pier. Local New York City high school and college students will hear from Dale Dougherty, founder and executive chairman of Maker Media and co-founder of Maker Faire, and other local leaders in STEM fields and the world of making at this inspirational event.
