Im not trying to say that the Liqui Moly is any better or worse than any other oil. Because its not from KMart and has actually been approved by VW for use in our engines. Hmmmm, so what castrol r the dealers using then? If you want to use a cheaper oil or non VW approved oil in your car then be my guest. Does that mean if buy liqui molly locally oil refinery is located in Germany it is a superior product over something refined in Thailand or Australia?

Ive also had the Liqui Moly recommended to me by several independent VW mechanic specialists. I used the liqui moly for about km and then switched to motul. Does that mean if an oil refinery is located in Germany it is a superior product over something refined in Thailand or Australia? You only service your car 2 or 3 times a year, why not spend an extra 10, 20 bucks each time for a little piece and mind, social rule of thumb unless ur buying apr spend a little more generally equals a better product.
