It look like maxcoin is going to launch wednesday at noonish my time, if I figured the time correctly. This is a new cpu coin launch. I think I will throw a few cpu's at it right at launch.
D same idea, i dont expect this to be the next XPM or nottin, but if we can get some fast coins why not, maybe they go maybe they dont, but worth a day's mining, in my experience instamine is only a one day thing anyway. MTC seems to be half decent so far Yac might become decent eventually, but if gpus can keep up with vram size then it'll continue being profitable for gpus only.

So far I've read there will be a zip released now, with the password being released tomorrow at new launch. I'll give it a shot tomorrow at the new launch. If there's premine, it'll be obvious.
There was an available download for the miner, so likely it is going to be GPU mined by those that know how to mod cgminer. Good luck to us who get to use the CPU miner Yeah, I'll at least toss my k at it for a few days and see what happens.
It isn't currently mining anyway. Just no gui based miner available. There is a command line miner available I think. D Everyone's pissed out of their minds! I couldn't get a single coin and couldn't get the wallet daemon nor qt to sync for solo mining Haven't seen a thing yet.
I suspect with the leaked miner, that botnets and gpu miners are getting them all. Has pts or xpm difficulty dropped? Well ya sure as hell didn't miss much! I got the windows command line only wallet synced up and mining fine. Or were you using the Unix builds?
I've been mining XPM for like a week, and so far I've made 3 xpm. I run xpm all of the time in the background.
I don't even watch it anymore. I fire up the wallet now and then to see what's happening. I think it will rebound in price some day. I am hoping that the botnets and cloud miners all go to maxcoin and the difficulty drops for xpm.

Pain in the rear to set up. Finally found a pool, but it keeps losing shares, so I'm not getting anything yet. I'll give it a couple of hours and see what happens. Switched pools, and I'm now getting about 1 coin every 10 minutes. I'm going to start a new thread, since I'm GPU mining it. Beeer has their own, I got the one for ypool. I guess that -a 0 or -a 2 should be fastest on R9 X and -a 1 or -a 3 should be best for non-R9 X cards.

They never really let you know what's going on, and their email support sucks, but I still use them.
Where exactly are the PTS gpu miners? Sounds like the good ones are on beeeer but I can't find 'em. Looks to be much more profitable to run my on PTS I got Malloc errors on my ti, they need they actually said they would build a "low memory" miner for cards with 1 Gb of Vram. My ti only has 1gb vram but the ypool miner said it tried with and mb buffers and failed. I'm assuming it's my system ram again even though I should have enough free for PTS having a huge spike right now,.
I like gpuz the most as it offers several temps, including vrm if the card has the sensor. Use this one and mine at ptsweb. There are some quark spin offs. Has anyone mined any of this stuff? I'm not that sure. I know it wasn't more than PTS Wallet is on invictus's site here http:
