The Exodus wallet team have announced that dogecoin users the 14th Septembersupport for Dogecoin will be removed from the Exodus wallet. If you don't then you risk not having access to them. For me this is a lesson worth learning. I have decided to stop using the Exodus wallet dogecoin users in favour of options that allow me to hold my own keys. I will be moving all assets out of Exodus and moving it to hardware wallets because the idea that a company can simply stop supporting a coin is worrying.

Doge has a very fun history behind it and surprised me that it became a currency with a sizeable market and value. I don't understand why Exodus is choosing to stop support, especially since any additional coin they support makes their platform more useful and look better. They must have their reasons though and it is good that they let us know this far ahead. I hope dropping support for Doge is not about price development.
If that is the case, this move sets a precedent for many other coins to be dropped by Exodus in the future. Yes, there will be bear years also. Thanks for the heads up. I'll need to pull mine off Exodus. Why quit Exodus altogether? My understanding is that you can view your private keys within Exodus. I have not tried since I use Trezor for larger amounts and smaller in Exodus dogecoin users Jaxx. You can get the keys but I just don't need dogecoin users wallet anymore.
