They are really just used to find the best strategy that suits you. I've doublechecked the buy signals themselves and those are very accurate. Also, if you go in the 'Style' menu click the format button on the PT backtesting V2 script to see that menuscroll all the way down, you should see 'Trades on Chart', 'Signals', 'Quantity'.
