In this Quick Bit, we will show you just how fast and easy it is to sync your Blockchain Wallet that you access via your desktop to your Blockchain Wallet app on your mobile device. First thing, of course, is you will want to download and install the Blockchain Wallet to your iOS or Android device. Once our app is installed on your mobile device, you can then pair it with the web wallet on your desktop or laptop.

Doing this will allow you to send and receive bitcoins, check your balance and more, all from your phone. To pair your wallet, go to your Blockchain Wallet on your desktop and log in. Click on Account Settingsand then navigate down to the Devices link on the left menu. You will be prompted to Show the pairing code. Click on the link and re-enter your password, and you will then see your pairing code, similar to what is shown in the screenshot below.

While the QR code is showing on your desktop, open the app on your mobile device, and select the option to connect or pair an existing wallet. Select the automatic pairing option as opposed to manualand this will bring up your QR scanner you can use to scan the QR code visiting on your desktop.

To scan the QR code, hold your phone feet away from your desktop monitor, as if you were taking a picture of the QR code. Your wallet should pair quickly, within several seconds at most.
