The bitcoin bible all you need to know about bitcoins

Ebay is cracking down on the sale of gift cards? Or are these just stolen gift cards being sold and then being reversed when Ebay finds out they were stolen? PayPal removed protection provisions for the sale of gift cards btw as of late June. And it's worth nothing that Ebay used to own PayPal for 12 years. They are in bed together. I actually get paid mainly with gift cards for doing offers and micro-jobs.
But it's status quo for trading gift cards. So I'm essentially screwed now or I'd have to trust that buyers wouldn't screw me over now that there's no PayPal protection for gift card sales.
What alternative do I have to PayPal for getting fiat preferably a service that is chargeback proof. Or at least hard to chargeback? When I offer to trade my gift cards for bitcoin, the asking price online is very high. And I can obtain bitcoin on here for below-stamp , at-stamp or at an exchange. So it has always been my preference to trade gift cards for fiat. Maybe if I put up an Amazon GC sell ad on here, it would have better luck.
If you want fiat you can try to sell the gc for bitcoin and sell the bitcoin for fiat. It's hard to compete with the rates here. You are in a tough spot. What kind of GCs do you get? The ebay cards I bought last year have expired the 6 month period. I should be fine. Did 5k at big discounts but all were good. A good old aged account can handle a few but a new account will get closed right away. If i have a old account but the address is also old and i want to ship to my new address using ebay gc, you think it would work?
Viernas The whole point for me wanting fiat for my Amazon GCs is that people online are willing to pay significantly more in fiat for them than they are with bitcoin.
And I'm able to purchase bitcoin myself below-stamp, at-stamp or worst case scenario slight mark-up at an exchange. Now that PayPal doesn't offer protection for selling gift cards it's pretty bad for sellers to begin with at any rate , I'm probably screwed now though. And looking for fiat alternatives for PayPal that cover the sale of gift cards. For a bitcoin trader like me whose used to people selling me coins below-stamp, that sucks.
Once the new PayPal rules go into effect, I think gift card sellers such as myself are going to start seeing more chargebacks and then we have no recourse because gift card selling is no longer covered by PayPal.
And then we'll have no choice but to only take bitcoin if there isn't a viable fiat alternative. But we'd have to take a bit of a financial hit in doing so on these gift card trading sites.
Because traders are less willing to part with bitcoins on there for GCs but yet they'll readily sell bitcoins below-stamp for fiat here. It's relevant and worth following the news in the fiat world, too. Ebay just closed buying ebay GC's with Egifter and Gyft about a month back. Ebay is actively trying to limit the flow of Ebay cards into BTC. That being the case, everything that is flowing in is a certain age.
Of course, you can simply raise a case with Ebay GC department to have them re-instated, but you must provide some proof you own it.
And of course, new accounts don't stand a chance. Open full view… Ebay accounts suspended left and right.
