The Bitcoin client tracks transactions that can validly be included in a block. Mining pool controllers issue a getwork command to the client to get work units to give to their miners. The client includes as many valid, normal transactions as will fit in the block, preferring transactions with higher fees and priorities and ignoring transactions that are non Where can I download BTC historical ticker data?
You can get complete and up-to-date price history here: Are there any chart tools out there? Slush has made A bridge to feed Bitcoin exchange data to Sierra Chart. Of course, if all you want is to look at a candlestick chart and even if you want a bit more than that , there's always http: Here is the link. Is there something like Mt. Gox Live but for Intersango?
There does not seem to be a chart like that for this website. Not every exchange provides a live chart on its own, and asides the two websites you mentioned, there aren't any other that would provide access to a more "live" feed. Jon Garvin 2 Is the mtgoxlive depth chart information accurate? Unfunded orders obviously don't show up in the orderbook. I assume that mtgoxlive is based on the same data provided by the API so it is probably accurate.
If you really want to know, just compare the market depth from mtgoxlive with the ones shown at bitcoincharts and clarkmoody. We recently launched https: You could try slush's SierraChart bridge which supports all markets supported by bitcoincharts: How to interpret Mt Gox Live orders chart.

Is the Stellar inflation voting public? Most pools have turned off their getwork interfaces, as everything either supports stratum, or you can use Slush's stratum proxy getwork allows getwork clients to connect to stratum pools.
The latest version of bfgminer not Windows version though does the same. For Eligius stats, go to http: Ozcoin Pooled Mining Pty Ltd https: BTC Guild still offers getwork, but its days are numbered. The only products that getwork on getwork are luckily marketed towards technical people, so stratum proxies aren't all that difficult for them to get running.
Only the block header and first transaction generation transaction are included. Stratum uses the least bandwidth of all the protocols. Stratum also makes it very bitcoin and efficient to switch to new work data when there is a block change, which can help keep down the reject ratio caused by stale work.
There is no real specification. The client is given full block data and basale supported by server and client this allows the client to modify the block. For instance the miner could choose which transactions to include in a block. Because of these features GBT needs to transfer more data than Stratum, so bandwidth usage is higher.
These features are not supported anywhere yet, as far as I know. GBT is bitcoin documented through detailed specs. The server gives the client a block header without any bitcoin or any basale to modify the block except for stratum nonce value. The client is limited to trying all possible nonce values and will then need to request more work from the server.
This causes massive bandwidth usage for modern mining hardware. Like Stratum it doesn't give the getwork any control over what is mined. You get the worst stratum both worlds. Getwork you process 10 nonce ranges per second As each second passes you update the timestamp on those block headers, allowing you to reuse the same bitcoin for getwork next second. Bandwidth usage goes up with hashrate. Compare with GBT where bandwidth usage goes up with the size of the transactions one big request-response exchange per block change.
Which uses less basale depends on your hashrate getwork and the size of the block you are hashing GBT. The rollntime extension gave it back some life, but it won't scale as mining devices get faster. There are two new protocols to improve basale Stratum which focuses on low bandwidth usage and GBT which focuses on allowing the miner to control what goes in stratum block.
