You won't see any traces unless you took screenshot. They never existed according to the stores, then when deal finishes everything suddenly magically appears back like turning back in time. Looks like the gamesmen jacked up their prices well ahead of time as well https: Yeah I saw that.

Pre-orders are never worth it. Just get it off the shelf when it's released. Think about if you got a backlog before purchasing any new games. When you preorder a game you're just committing to paying for something some assholes in California haven't even finished working on yet. You know what you get for preordering a game? What's the point of doing it then? Depending on the deal they have with eBay. There are others with lesser cuts. Some retailers still prefer to have an eBay channel on top of their own website because the eBay demographic is different ie: There may be some cannibalization but in general it gives retailers some uplift in volume to hit their numbers.
The point is the non so tech savvy mums and dads just get ripped off buying stuff for their kids. The stores are taking advantage of those people. I'd say they do it as another market. People might not necessarily see their own website at all. Exactly, all they're doing is ruining their reputation.
Doweyy it seems you have forgotten to list computer alliance because it isn't a deal otherwise. My bad, I'm going to personally ask computer alliance to stock toys and video games for next time. It might have an effect on PS4 supply from these stores. I got original ps4 console from JB back when there was a shortage on first release.
Not sure how or why, but seems JB can get consoles or have stock already when there is a 'shortage'. Bought like 20 x these. Trade price goes down once they adjust their price for that cex buy and sell ie game. Trades are, generally, very bad for the customer, CEX was great, but now they are just as bad as EB, ie.

Would pay to keep a watch on them and check back when the code is activated. Why do they bother participating then? To exploit the unaware customers? This is how it works. Hopefully there's some good PS4 Pro deals but I doubt it with all the price jacking.
