I have been looking for quite a bit for the "best" cryptocurrency which bitcoin crypto currency bot project gekko vs tribeca vs blackbird bot out there, but I must admit that it turned out to be a complicated quest! The aim would be to generate income with automatic trading of cryptocurrencies, while carrying on with our life in the "fiat currency world".
I have explored many websites that offer automated trading online such as Haasbot, Cryptotrader, BTCRobot and Tradewave, but for some reason probably wrong!
I would rather use a software running on my computer. This is cool stuff, but like many open source projects are not for the faint-hearted! This post aim to inform as well as understand what people are using in the real world, so please let me know what you think! This is my screenshot the first time I run Gekko! Now is running in dummy mode I'll let you know if it gets it right!
Zenbot is open-source trading software which allows high-frequency trading and supports multiple cryptocurrencies. Via API can obtain informations from multiple exchange e. It also allows backtesting your trade strategy to make sure you get it right when running with real money! I have not tried zenbot yet, but here is a screenshot from the github. Tribeca is a cryptocurrency market making trading bot with web client, backtester, and supports direct connectivity to several cryptocoin exchanges.
On their Github developers claim that Tribeca can react to market data by placing and canceling orders in under a millisecond. I am far from being an expert in market making trading strategy, but I guess it is worth trying it!
